Day 1 | Hometown – Bangkok

Day 2 | Bangkok
Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to your hotel in the city. Check in and enjoy the balance of the day free to do as you wish. Perhaps recharge your batteries by the hotel pool or head out to experience Thailand’s exciting capital. Tonight, sit down to a Thai Welcome Dinner at the Erawan Tea room in our hotel.

Day 3 | Bangkok

Today, travel to the Bang Pa-in Summer Palace, a 19th-century island palace built by King Rama V. Admire the ornate building before continuing to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ayutthaya, site of the former capital of Siam. Roam the crumbled temples and hear how the city reached its heyday in the 17th century. Afterward, cruise back to Bangkok along the Chao Phraya River on a comfortable Grand Pearl liner. Admire the riverside scenes of villages, forests and majestic temples from deck, and savor a delicious buffet lunch and coffee on board before docking at Bangkok in the late afternoon.

Day 4 | Bangkok
After breakfast, travel southwest from Bangkok to visit Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, one of Thailand’s best-known river markets. Board a long-tail speedboat to explore the maze-like canals, congested with canoes piled with fresh produce and souvenirs. After absorbing the colorful scenes, return to Bangkok and after lunch in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, enjoy a fascinating tour of Bangkok’s Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Crammed with gilded temples and spires, this extravagant complex was the power base of King Rama IV, the inspiration behind the monarch idealized in the “The King and I” musical, ruled. Marvel at the splendid halls and temples, and see the revered Emerald Buddha, carved from a single piece of jasper.

Day 5 | Bangkok – Pattaya

This morning, take the next leg of your journey, with a drive to the vibrant beach resort of Pattaya on Thailand’s eastern Gulf Coast. Fringing a wide bay, this modern resort is known for its soft sands, buzzing markets and hedonistic nightlife. Visit a gems gallery and get the afternoon free to relax by the hotel pool or on the beach. This evening, dine at a local seafood restaurant and visit Pattaya night market, a whirl of neon-lit food and trinket stalls.

Day 6 | Pattaya

A full-day excursion to Koh Larn by a shared boat , known as Coral Island, off Pattaya awaits today. Ride a speedboat to the beautiful island and spend the day lazing on its white sands. Sunbathe, swim or, snorkel from a sheltered beach, try out watersports and enjoy a seafood lunch at a waterfront restaurant. Later, cruise back to Pattaya and spend the evening enjoying its legendary nightlife, restaurants or street markets.
